Our programming is thoughtfully aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning in Living Systems and Processes for Kindergarten through 3rd Grade (Standards K.5 – K.7, 1.4 – 1.5, 2.4 – 2.5, 3.4 – 3.5). Each visit includes three exciting rotation-based lessons:

Discover the food chain through engaging activities focused on predator-prey relationships.
Explore the unique traits, life cycles, and habitats of our resident reptiles, mammals, and birds.

🚸 Children must remain under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
🐶 No outside animals allowed on the farm.
👟 Closed-toed shoes are required for all participants to ensure safety around animals and
farm areas.
☂️ Field Trips take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, The Red Barn Farm will
call the point of contact to reschedule.
